Lotsa Loot Video Slot is a five reel machine with twenty-five playable pay-lines that allow up to a single coin per line.  With a fixed bet size of $.10 per coin, the max bet size on this machine (for engaging all twenty-five pay-lines and becoming eligible for the progressive jackpot) is only $2.50.  Considering this is a large pay-line slot machine, players who bet on all pay-lines at once will increase their chances of winning.  In addition to the progressive jackpot, LotsaLoot video slot has a wild symbol...the infamous LotsaLoot logo.  Unlike the three-reel machine, there are no multipliers in this version.  With so many pay-lines on this game, the payout table (listed further below in this review) can get confusing if players do not take some time to study it.

As for the progressive jackpot, like all other progressives, players must bet on each pay-line for a single spin in order to be eligible to win it in full.  The jackpot usually goes for thousands of dollars at a time, so players are strongly urged to play the max bet.  The jackpot is awarded when a player hits five LotsaLoot symbols on the twenty-fifth payline.  The full progressive jackpot is paid out in credits (what you see is what you get), while all other winnings are paid out in coins For instance, if a player strikes five LotsaLoot symbols on the ninth pay-line, the award is 10,000 coins.  Since each coin is staked at $.10, this equates to 1,000 credits ($1,000). If more than one winning combo is hit on a single pay-line, the highest paying combo is awarded by default.  An example of this happening would be if a player was to hit two Sevens and two LotsaLoot symbols.  Rather than be paid for two LotsaLoot symbols (4 coins) the player would get paid for 4 Sevens (counting the LotsaLoot symbols as wild), which amounts to 50 coins.  In order for any winning combination to pay out, at least one of the symbols must appear on the first reel.  A four symbol combination on reels two thru five will not pay out.  The coin payouts for every winning symbol combination are displayed in the following chart:

One of the trickiest things about large pay-line video slot machines is keeping track of which pay-line is which.  The following color-coded grids display the corresponding pay-line number, which you may want to print off for your records:

The top paying symbol, LotsaLoot, always serves as a wild symbol.  Hitting at least two of them by themselves gives a payout of four coins.  Hitting three thru five of them at once on any of the first twenty-four pay-lines awards a generous portion of the jackpot, while hitting five on the twenty-fifth pay-line pays out the aggregate progressive.

The leprechauns cauldron indeed holds a large load of gold coins.  It is the second highest ranking symbol on this game, and pays out a maximum award of 750 coins.

Rainbow sevens pay out from twelve to five-hundred coins for hitting a series of them on a single pay-line.

The most colorful Bar you will ever see on a slot machine, hitting at least three of these will return an award of ten coins, while five of them on a single pay-line awards 500 coins.

Finding a four-leaf clover is luckier than usual, because it pays out up to 30 coins for hitting five of them at once.

Bringing an element of card play to the game, LotsaLoot has a series of symbols corresponding to the cards of Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten.  They are ranked in the same manner as they are in a deck of cards, with the Ace being the highest value and Ten being the least.  Hitting a minimum of two Tens or Jacks will pay out, while a minimum of three Queen, King or Ace symbols (all of one kind) will pay out accordingly.
