Thunderstruck Bonus Screen Slots

Thunderstruck is one of the most well-known online slot machines created by the game developers at MicroGaming Software.  This particular machine pays out on nine different lines and has five reels with a large makeup of symbols.  Accepting a wide variety of coin denominations ranging from pennies to whole dollars, the maximum wager for each payline is five coins - which amounts to a maximum bet of 45 coins per spin.  Although Thunderstruck is not a progressive machine, with a maximum jackpot of 10,000 coins, it seems like it is. 2x multipliers produce big winners often, as do the wild and scatter symbols and bonus round that offers a free spin.  A smaller, secondary jackpot pays 2,000 coins, which hits more frequently.  Below, is the payout schedule (in coins) for all symbols, which clearly indicates the many different ways to win at Thunderstruck Slots.

 

Below, are pictures of all the symbols you will find associated with this Microgaming slot.  There are thirteen total, so take your time memorizing what each of them does to the payout schedule.

The symbol of Thor (pictured below) is the one symbol you want to see coming up on the reels most often when playing Thunderstruck.  The maximum payout (10,000 coins) on this machine is awarded when five Thor symbols line up on all five reels.  When hit in conjunction with other symbols (except the Rams), Thor serves as both a wild symbol and 2x multiplier.  In other words, when Thor is hit on a wagered payline, it will serve as the symbol for the best winning symbol combination, as well as double the payout for that combo.

The Scatter Rams (pictured below), are probably the most important symbols in this game.  As a scatter symbol, the rams need not come up on the payline being bet on to affect the payout of a spin.  Rather, if the Rams come up anywhere on the screen, they will have precedence.  Two Scatter Rams must show up at one time in order to serve as 2x multipliers and double earnings.  If three of them come up at one time, the player enters a free-spins bonus feature, and is awarded fifteen free spins, all of which are given triple earnings on any winning combination.

The bonus gamble feature, which can be played after any win, lets players bet on either the suit or color of a single drawn card.  The color bet doubles winnings, while the suit bet quadruples winnings.  Each gamble bonus round allows up to four consecutive bets on a single win.

Big Kahuna Bonus Screen Slots

Microgaming Software's other fan-favorite slot machine is undoubtedly Big Kahuna.  Similar to Thunderstruck in that it pays out large sums without being a progressive machine, Big Kahuna has five reels and nine paylines as well. The machine lets gamblers put down stakes ranging from nickel bets to fifty cents.  Up to five coins per line can be played at once, which equates to a maximum bet of $22.50 per spin.  Since max stake sizes are lower than Thunderstruck, so is the max jackpot.  However, at 8,000 coins, the ratio of winnings per wager is greater at Big Kahuna.  The secondary jackpot is worth 1,000 coins.  As for gamble features, there are none.  Yet, there are two bonus features in the form of a wild and scatter symbol.  Payouts for hitting multiple symbols on a single line are displayed below.

 

  


The "Big Kahuna" logo symbol is the big-money winner.  In order to win the primary 8,000 coin jackpot, players have to hit five of these symbols on any payline, while concurrently wagering the maximum bet. The Big Kahuna logo also serves as a wild symbol, and will become whatever symbol is needed to complete the best winning combination.  The only time it will not replace a symbol is when no winning combination can be made regardless, nor will it replace the monkey scatter symbol and volcano and mask bonus symbols.

As a scatter symbol, the monkey's face (pictured below) can show up anywhere on the screen for it to have an impact on winnings.  With fifteen symbols showing on the screen at once (three visible paylines and five reels per payline), only two scatter symbols need to come up for a payout of three coins.  If five monkeys are hit at once, the payout is for two-hundred coins.  Again, a player need only bet on a single payline to be eligible for payouts caused by the scatter symbols.

There are some exciting bonus features that come with Big Kahuna slots.  The first of these is dictated by the Volcano Bonus Symbol (pictured below).  If at least three of these symbols line up on a single payline, the player will enter a bonus round in which they are asked to select from an assortment of fruits to sacrifice to the Gods.  Depending on the fruit chosen, payouts are given accordingly.  Know matter what, the player will always walk away with more money in the bonus round.

The other bonus feature of Big Kahuna Slots is the Mask bonus round.  The symbol of the masked native (pictured below) is what triggers this feature.  If three or more of these symbols are hit on any wagered payline, the bonus round will be enabled.  At that point, the player will be confronted with a selection of masks which they must choose to uncover various winning amounts.  The player continues picking masks until they uncover the one that says "Collect", at which time, the coin total of all prior selections is awarded.  Even if the player does not get to draw all of the masks, they will be awarded ten coins for each mask not uncovered.

Gold Rally Bonus Screen Slots

When it comes to progressive jackpots, few are better than Gold Rally Slots.  One of the most popular slot machines developed by PlayTech software, Gold Rally has a jackpot that is regularly in the hundreds of thousands.  With nine reels and eight paylines, there are many ways to win at this machine.  The fixed stake amount per payline is $2, making this a high-roller slot machine.  The maximum bet is 8 coins (one per payline), which amounts to an $18 max bet to be eligible for the progressive.  As it is a progressive, these higher stake amounts are worth it, for the jackpot payoff is always large.  The secondary jackpot has a payout of five-hundred coins.  There are no wild symbols, multipliers or gamble features.  However, there is a scatter pay feature and a bonus round.  The payouts for all winning symbols other than for the progressive jackpot (won by hitting nine scatter symbols) is as follows:

 

         

Remember that when playing a progressive slot machine, in order to be eligible for the jackpot, you must put a wager on all paylines.  If all of the viewable symbol (nine total) come up as scales (pictured below), the progressive jackpot is hit.  The scales also serve as scatter symbols.  Hitting a total of at least five anywhere on the playing screen will payout (according to the scatter paytable), while hitting three on a wagered payline will pay twenty coins (according to the regular paytable).

The bonus round at Gold Rally Slots is enabled when four dynamite symbols are hit in all four corners of the playing screen.  The player must then make a series of choices in the bonus round to determine how many coins they win, which is verified by a You Win sign.
 

Wall Street Fever Slots Multi Line Slots

For players who do not want to bet large amounts in order to be eligible for a progressive jackpot, Wall Street Fever is an excellent choice.  While still paying out large progressive jackpots, the max/fixed bet is only ten cents.  With five paylines and a max bet of five coins per spin, players will not have to put down more than 50 cents per spin.  Wall Street Fever has five reels loaded with a variety of symbols, including a wild symbol, and arrow/zigzag symbols that enable a bonus feature and free spins.  There are no multipliers or scatter symbols for this machine.  The payouts for all winning combinations (other than the jackpot) are displayed in the following paytable:

 

The "Wall St" logo symbol (pictured directly below) is what pays out the most.  Hitting five of them on any wagered payline will award the progressive jackpot, while hitting five of them on a single active payline (non-progressive eligible bet) will award a secondary jackpot of 100,000 coins.  The logo also serves as the Wild Symbol, in which it will replace any symbol to complete a paying combination.  The only symbols it will not replace are the "Arrow" and "Zigzag" symbols, which award free spins and a bonus feature as described below.

The Bonus Round is activated when three zigzag symbols (pictured below) are hit on a single, active payline.  The bonus screen is automatically brought up, during which the player follows simple instructions to win their bonus payout.

The Free Spins feature is awarded with the help of the symbol made up of red and yellow arrows (pictured directly below).  When at least three of these symbols are hit anywhere on the reels, the player is bestowed with five free spins.  If five arrow symbols are hit at once, the player is generously awarded with fifty free spins.  The amount of active paylines wagered at the time of hitting the free spin feature will automatically be applied to the free spins themselves.
