Bally Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has
signed a contract with the Seminole Tribe of Florida to provide a suite of
Bally Power Bonusing products, iVIEW interactive touch screen displays, and
a variety of server based gaming technologies for an implementation that
will consist of over 6,200 slot machines and will involve six locations in
Florida.
The Seminole Tribe is no stranger to Bally Technologies, as they already use
many of their slot machines at their existing Class II properties. They are
going to be adding more than 3,000 slot machines into the Seminole Hard Rock
Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, and about 3,000 slot machines at the Coconut
Creek Casino in Coconut Creek as well. The tribe also plans to leverage its
existing network strength and new Bally technologies to provide personalized
and downloadable experiences for every player at every slot machine.
"We take pride in providing our guests with leading-edge technology that
enhances the player experience and distinguishes our casinos and resorts
from others," said Jim Allen, Chief Executive Officer of the Seminole
tribe's gaming venture and overseer of ensuring top slot machines. "We
believe that Bally has proven itself over the years as the best technology
partner for the Seminoles, and we are impressed with Bally's overall vision
for server-based gaming and how it positively impacts and benefits the
player."
