South Florida recently passed voter legislation that would allow for slot machines at several pari-mutuel racetracks; However, the rules governing how operators could conduct their business with the slot machines in place was nothing short of objectionable.  Now, due to collaboration between Florida gaming operators and the Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering, these rules have been revised to include such perks as letting racetracks give out comps and accommodate gamblers in lodgings.
