There is no doubt about it, the slot machines at the
San Manuel Bingo and Casino can be considered the loosest slot machines in
the state. And it’s no wonder why the casino got that title—their Wheel of
Fortune slot machines have paid out more in jackpots than all of the other
slot machines in the state. And what’s even better about the San Manuel
Bingo and Casino is that players aren’t just winning off of the slot
machines and gaming tables, the Casino is also just literally giving money
away.
A look at the payouts from the slot machines at San Manuel verify that they
seem to have loose slots. The casino has paid out over $28 million back to
the players in the form of slots winnings. And, the two top jackpot records
in the state have been set at the San Manuel casino—a $7.3 million jackpot
and a $6.4 million jackpot. The Director of Operations, Steve Lengel,
believes that they high payouts bring in the players—they like the feeling
that the casino is lucky. "It's the luckiest place. Come on, we've given a
lot out here."
It might not just be the Casino that is lucky though, players across the
country seem to do pretty well on the Wheel of Fortune slot machines. These
slots are pretty popular in part because the patrons are familiar with the
characters and the concept that the machines are built around. Plus it
doesn’t hurt that the Wheel of Fortune slots paid out $2 billion across the
country since 1996—and $192 million of that was just in California.
