Say Goodbye to the Slot Machines Middlemen

Bouncing between Pennsylvania’s House and Senate for years, Act 71 has finally had some amendments signed into law, and many feel it is about time that the slot machines saw further regulations now that the slot machines are about to open throughout the state. The new changes are a recent development as the two branches of the PA government have finally reached a consensus on which changes to Act 71 were necessary for the slot machines to run smoothly in the state.

So many people were concerned about the slot machines middlemen, and how the new legislature would address the corruption that was running rampant in the middlemen industry shortly after the middlemen were mandated by the government as a go-between for the casinos and the slot machines manufacturer. Now, rather than being a mandatory part of the slot machines buying and selling process in the state, the middlemen are optional.

Now that the slot machines are up and running in PA, the new legislature came just in time as far as many citizens and industry professionals are concerned. Pocono Downs is already open as of November 14th, and many of the other 14 slot machine casinos are scheduled to open in the coming few months.

Some of the 14 slot machines casinos are still a long ways off because they haven’t even gotten approval for a casino location yet. The five slot machines casinos that will not be linked with a racetrack are awaiting location approval from the local counties and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. slot machines
