Talk about the best $100 you’ve ever spent, one woman
had what can only be described as one lucky day. Tajel Patel of San Jacinto
went to a Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa to play the slot machine and found
out that sometimes you just have to give it a little to get the huge
jackpots.
Patel hit the $2.5 million jackpot on what is known as a Wheel of Fortune
slot machine last Wednesday. The Wheel of Fortune slot machine is special in
that it is a progressive jackpot, and beyond that, the slot machine is
linked to slot machines in other Indian casinos. The reasons the jackpots
are linked even though they are in different casinos relates to the size of
the jackpot. By operating across more slot machines the jackpot quickly
reaches huge sums, and thus pays out frequently as well.
From this progressive jackpot system, the slot machine jackpot payouts total
over $1 billion. This information is according to IGT, one of the nations
largest slot machine manufacturers and based out of Reno, Nevada.
