Hefner Dabbles in Slot Machines

Hugh Hefner announced that he is expending his holdings beyond Playboy—and this time slot machine enthusiasts can experience a little of the Hefner magic. Though Hefner has not operated a Playboy Club in the United States since the late 80’s, he recently opened a slot machine and gambling casino right in the city of lights—Las Vegas.

Now for those familiar with the type of clubs Hefner used to operate, Hefner’s latest won’t let the slot machine enthusiast down. The slot machine casino, appropriately named Fantasy Tower, will hold inside all the luxuries of the former Playboy Clubs, but this time the addition of slot machines will bring in approximately $4 million in revenue—the majority of the revenue will come as a result of the slot machines.

Hefner, who is now 80, taps into the male fantasy by pairing his now famous and recognizable Bunnies with gaming tables and slot machines—for the slot gamer what could be better than beautiful women running the gaming tables and bringing you your drinks?

Hefner also announced that Fantasy Tower is the first in the line of a series of other Playboy Clubs scheduled to open around the world. Hefner feels that now that he has a slot machine license the clubs will have that little edge over traditional casinos.
