The Latest Multi-level Progressive Slot Machines

Multilevel progressive slot machines are the hottest thing right now at casinos throughout the world.  This year's Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas was the platform for at least ten newcomers and series additions culminating from the introduction of hyperlinked games by Aristocrat Technologies and Atronic.

If you are not familiar with the hyperlinked machines, one of the most popular was and still is Cash Express.  The reason it is called a hyperlinked machine is that players can choose to compete for four different progressive jackpots upon reaching the progressive round.  They simply choose the corresponding jackpot (Mini, Minor, Major or Grand), and are linked into a specific progressive.  The mini and minor jackpots are smaller in amount, but hit more often, while the grand jackpots reach into the tens of thousands of dollars, but are awarded less often.  However, when any jackpot is awarded, you will surely know because a these machines make a commotion.

Building on this system of multi-line progressives, online slot manufacturers are in a flurry to come out with the hottest new machines.  This year, Aristocrat Gaming built upon its own original creation by introducing their Dual Standalone Series, while WMS Gaming revealed new Poweball and Jackpot Party Progressives.  Also new this year are IGT's Soul Train, Party Fever and Jackpot Hunter, Bally Gaming's Hot Shot, and Atronic's eMillionaire mammoth progressive.
